Cerrowire
Cerrowire has a rich history in the copper wire and cable industry. It was established in the 1920s as Circle Flexible Conduit Co., Inc. and initially focused on manufacturing and selling armored cable and flexible steel conduit. Over the years, the company expanded its product line to include various types of copper wire and cable, eventually changing its name to Circle Wire & Cable Corp.
In 1955, Cerro de Pasco Corp. acquired the company, leading to the development of Cerro Wire & Cable Company. In 1976, Cerro Wire & Cable became a member of The Marmon Group. The company continued to grow and expand, with manufacturing facilities in Alabama, Utah, Indiana, and Georgia.
In 2008, Berkshire Hathaway Inc., acquired a majority interest in the Marmon Group of companies, solidifying Cerrowire's future in the building wire industry. The company is now known as Cerro Wire LLC.
In 2020, Cerrowire celebrated its 100th anniversary of powering innovation in the industry. Throughout its history, Cerrowire has maintained a commitment to delivering quality products, strong service, and innovative solutions to its customers.
